That is soooo true! Kids can enjoy those gifts long after the holiday. In fact, my child never eats all her candy. We just end up throwing it away. Thanks for the great ideas!

This is a really good idea and they get far too many sweets.

Great list of ideas! I’m so tired of people always feeding my kids treats. There is so much more fun things. Candy is nice, but too much candy is boring to me. My kids would rather have non-food toys after the first couple of days after Halloween. There are only so many belly-aches they can handle.

Cute ideas for Halloween! I’m always conflicted about giving candy to kids. One year I gave out individual flash cards with game ideas on them, along with the candy…

Great post! It always makes me cringe how much candy my kids (and I) get and eat at Halloween. Great ideas for non-candy options!
Thanks for sharing it at Monday Funday. I shared your post on G+

Good ideas, especially in locations where kids don’t go Halloweening, but you still want to celebrate.

Awesome ideas! I so appreciate this because my youngest is allergic to peanuts, which makes Halloween kind of tricky. :-/ I would love for his bag to be filled with these types of things! Thanks for sharing!

These are such cute ideas! And they all last longer than quickly-eaten candy. One year we gave out glow sticks and they were a huge hit!

Love all the foamy crafts. I just saw that if you are handing out “non-candy” (read non-allergenic) treats that you should paint your pumpkin teal to alert parents that their food-allergic children will be given fun and safe little trinkets. Great post. (Over from Pure Blog Love link-up.)
