Need a quick way to get more mileage from a citrus peel? Here’s a great idea for how to use up citrus peel.
After you’ve removed the pulp and juice from the fruit, save the peel.
I’m using a grapefruit here, but oranges and lemons work just as well.
Turn half of a peel inside out, then use it to scrub the sink.
After you’ve finished scrubbing, cut the citrus peel into small pieces and feed it down the garbage disposal.
The citrus oils clean the sink, and the peel ground up in the disposal cleans and removes bad odors.

Thanks Noreen for letting me know about the code. They changed their site and now several of the codes aren’t compatible. Hope you can drop by again. I have it fixed now! I love cleaning with citrus!

Use a plastic bottle (2-quart sized) and pack with citrus peels (lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, etc.) leaving a 2-inch space to allow for gas expansion and then fill with water.
