This folded pocket book is so much fun to make that I had to find ways to use them so I can make more!
One way to use it is to make it a one sheet folded gift pocket book, which has 8 pockets.
To use the book one can put folded money or gift cards in some of the pockets and messages in the other pockets.
For instance, one could put folded five dollar bills in 4 of the pockets to make a gift of $20, which is a nice gift.
Then create 4 tags, adding messages to 3 of them and sign the 4th one to add to the other four pockets.
In addition to cash or gift cards, the recipient will have a useful little book full of pockets.
Another way to use the book is to put coupons in the pockets to be redeemed for various services or treats.
Theater tickets would be another fun item to add to the pockets.
The great thing about this gift pocket book is that it would work for anyone and for any occasion!
For instructions on how to make a One Sheet Folded Gift Pocket Book, click here for the basic book.
Here are the tags I used. They were cut from manilla folders.
They are 2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Just cut a bit off the top corners and punch a hole in the top center.
The tags are large enough to write longer messages if you wish.
If the gift is from a family, each family member could use one tag to write a message.
