Drop an Egg on the floor?
Here’s a quick clean up tip.
Grab your salt box and sprinkle a handful of salt all over the egg.
Make it pretty thick, and be sure to get some around the edges.
Let it sit a moment while the egg soaks up the salt.
Use a paper towel to shove it all into the center, and then just scoop up the mess.
You will need 2 or 3 paper towels to get it all, but you won’t have to chase slithery egg white all over the floor.
A damp paper towel or cloth will clean any residue from the floor.
So next time an egg lands on the floor, you can use this quick clean up tip for the raw egg mess!

What a great idea! It’s been a while since I’ve dropped an egg on the floor, but the next time I do, I’ll know exactly what to do! It’s so hard to clean up.

What a great tip and one I will need to remember. My grandson dropped a whole basket of eggs on the kitchen floor last weekend and boy what a mess it was to clean up! Thanks for sharing.

Noreen,
thank you for sharing. It’s a very, very useful tip for me. Wondering why? I’ve just posted about an activity that would have benefited soo much had I known this before, hehe!

At least you’ll know the tip the next time you cook with your little guy!

Nice tip. I prefer to just call the dog over and have him take care of it. He seems to enjoy it, too 🙂
