A Pot Holder Notepad Pocket is handy to hang on the refrigerator so you’ll always have pen and paper handy.
It’s quick and easy to make, and could be a great gift idea for kids to make for Grandma or a teacher.
I found the pot holder at the Dollar Store, so it’s easy to make a few notepad pockets inexpensively.
Supplies.
Pot Holder with a Pocket
Needle and Thread or Sewing Machine
Chalk
Ruler
Pad of Paper
Pen
How to Make a Pot Holder Notepad Pocket.
1. Put pen in one side of the pocket.
Use chalk to draw a line for the stitching line, making sure the pen can be easily moved in and out.
2. Stitch on the chalk line from the top of the pocket to the bottom of the pot holder.
Backstitch at both ends and tie off the thread.
3. Add a pad of paper and a pen to the pockets and it’s ready to hang on a magnet hook or a magnet clip on the refrigerator.

Perfect! I need something like this. I just have a tablet on a clip on my fridge…looks junky! This would be great. I quilt, so I can make the pot holder any theme I want. Cool idea!
