Crafting with clothespins is a necessity for me.
They are one of the items I absolutely must have in my craft tool kit.
They are so handy as a third hand when I don’t have quite enough hands to hold a project.
In this photo the clothespins are holding two things together while stitching around to attach them together.
I always use spring clothespins as a clamp when gluing – especially if something needs to be held together for a few minutes.
I usually fold a small piece of waxed paper over the edge of the item I’m gluing before I add the clothespin.
That way the clothespin clamp can’t be accidentally glued to my project if some glue seeps out.
Spring clothespins can also be used as a temporary paperclip.
Look in the Dollar Store for a package of clothespins to use when you’re crafting.
Once you start using them, you’ll find that crafting with clothespins is a necessity for you, too.

Thanks for the wonderful tip. Never thought of using clothes pins as clamps. I see how handy they could be.
