A quick eyeglasses holder is an easy gift to make for Mom or Grandma.
You can find pretty pot holders inexpensively at the Dollar Store or Target.
This would make an easy beginning sewing project for kids.
Supplies.
Pot Holder
Needle and Thread or Sewing Machine
How to Make a Quick Eyeglasses Holder.
1. Fold the pot holder in half, keeping the loop at the top.
2. Starting at the fold on the bottom, stitch across the bottom and up the open side to the top edge.
Back stitch at the beginning and end of the stitching.
3. Leave the top open to slide the eyeglasses in.
The holder can be hung by the loop to keep eyeglasses handy, or may be used to tuck glasses safely in a purse or bag.
It could also be used as a scissors holder, or for transporting other small crafting tools.
Tips
The pot holder may be decorated before stitching. Add an initial, buttons, or a flower to embellish it.
Or stitch the edge with a blanket stitch using colorful embroidery floss.

Stopping by from ‘From the Farm’ hop. What a cute idea. I have seen a few pot holder crafts and one of them was to make it just like this, but use it for a curling iron when traveling. We have a Dollar Tree close. All the grandma’s wear glasses so this might be a cute idea for kiddo to give to them for mother’s day.
