A Pot Handle Hot Pad Grip is easy to make with a pot holder, and really handy for holding a pan with a hot handle.
Just slip the pot handle grip over the handle of the pot or pan to use it.
Because I found these hot pads in the Dollar Store in a package of 2 for $1, I can make lots of them for gifts.
Supplies.
Hot Pad
Needle and Thread or Sewing Machine
Clothespins, clamps or pins
How to make a Pot Handle Hot Pad Grip.
1. Fold the hot pad in half with the loop at the top.
2. Use clothespins, clamps, or pins to hold the edges together while you stitch them.
3. Stitch from top to bottom along the edge, back stitching at each end, as shown by the dashed line.
Do NOT stitch across the bottom edge.
That’s all there is to it, and the pot handle grip is ready to use.
When using the pot handle grip, you would slide it all the way onto the handle.
