Little boys love cars!
They seem to start finding cars fascinating before they can even walk.
A Hot Wheels Necklace is very quick and easy, and would be loved by most little boys.
It would be a fun stocking stuffer or a great party favor.
Just be sure the kids who receive them are old enough to safely wear something around their neck.
This Hot Wheels Necklace would make a great take-along or travel toy because it is easy to wear and would be harder to lose track of.
I used satin cord because it is nice and soft against their neck.

How to Make a Hot Wheels Necklace.
Choose a car that has a loop feature that can be used to attach the cord to.
1. Cut the satin cord 31 inches long.
2. Align the two ends, and tie them together into a knot.
3. Put the other end of the cord (loop) through the opening on the car, and then put the knotted end of the cord through the loop and pull it snuggly against the car.
This is called a Larks Head Knot.
The necklace is finished and ready to be loved.
For small children this necklace should only by worn under adult supervision.
