You can buy gift wrap boxes, but they are very quick to make once you learn the easy methods.
Save all your cereal, cracker, and other boxes to turn into gift boxes. After the gift box is used and the gift is removed, it can be recycled.

The boxes can be used as is, turned inside out and decorated, or covered with decorative paper or wrapping paper.
If you have a box with a lid that isn’t very pretty, cover it with wrapping paper to make a gift wrap box, and cover the lid separately so you can use it over and over. Or you can adhere colorful paper to the box.

Gift Boxes from Christmas Cards
Because a Christmas card is already colorful, you don’t need to wrap it. Just make gift boxes from Christmas cards and tie on a ribbon or bow. Be sure to decrease the box bottom 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch so it will fit under the top.

Another easy Christmas card gift box is this one that has rounded edges that tuck under each other.
Making Boxes
This simple box can be made in any size by simply changing the measurements. Use designer paper and you won’t need to wrap the gift box.
One Sheet Wonder
Make a one sheet wonder box out of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Use heavy wrapping paper or cardstock to make it sturdier.
4.5 x 6 Inch Box
Craft a 4/5 x 6 Inch box with a tuck in flap. Cover with decorative paper or wrapping paper before taping it together.
Cube Shaped Box
Create a cube shaped box with a tuck in flap for bulkier gifts.
Fabric Covered Box
Use some of your favorite fabric to make a fabric covered box.
