This Flower Twinkle Light is quick and easy, and would make great place setting favors.
A cluster of them would look pretty in a centerpiece on the table. It’s a wonderful Spring or Easter idea.
You could even slip one or two in a bouquet of flowers, just for fun.
Materials
A Flower Cluster from the Dollar Store (Choose larger flowers that will have room for the tea light)
Tea Light, Battery Operated
Hot Glue
Scissors or Wire Cutters – to Cut flowers from the cluster
How to make a Flower Twinkle Light.
1. Select a bloom for the twinkle light and remove it from the bouquet.
Remove enough of the center of the flower to allow the tea light to fit inside.
2. Use a spot of hot glue to hold the tea light in the flower.
Be sure the glue isn’t covering the switch on the tea light, so you will be able to turn it on and off.
That’s all there is to it, and you can easily and quickly make a bunch of them.
Tip
I found battery operated tea lights that change color in one of the dollar stores, but not all of the stores had the color changing lights.
